ABOUT
A native of Grand Rapids, MI, Tara moved to Flagstaff, AZ in 2008, to finish her undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University in Photojournalism, and to be closer to her Grandparents in Las Vegas. Upon obtaining her Bachelor's Degree, she moved to Las Vegas to care for them. She has taken advantage of exciting opportunities in Las Vegas that have allowed her to flourish, including working with a Downtown Project (DTP) start up company, documenting DTP's real estate in the Fremont East District, and the transformation of these properties into small businesses and coworking spaces focusing on community connectiveness. From there Tara combined her experience and skills to establish a career specializing in Residential Real Estate. She brings over 20 years of customer service, sales experience, and small business ownership. Her motivation as a residential real estate specialist is created out of her passion to educate and provide guidance to those who are making one of the biggest purchases, or sales of their lives, and the desire to make that process a positive one. The most satisfying aspect about real estate for her is developing lasting relationships with the clients she works with. She has built many wonderful friendships in Las Vegas. Tara believes developing leadership skills, and taking part in continuing education is the key to providing value to her clients, whether it is with her past, current, or future clients. She is a member of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®, and sits on the Trends committee. She holds the designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, SRES®, and is VA Certified. Tara has been a Certified Yoga Instructor since 2008, she has two amazing dogs, and a wonderful partner of many years, who is also a REALTOR®. He specializes in Commercial Real Estate. She enjoys volunteering within the Las Vegas community with Three Square, food bank, and the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
