Sunshine Kids Foundation

This special organization provides activities, trips, and events for young cancer patients, allowing them and their families to get away from the stress of cancer treatments and just have some fun. American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community- based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties participates in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk each October.

Toys For Tots

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties supports Toys for Tots each holiday season by collecting toys in each branch office from October through December.

Opportunity Village

Opportunity Village is a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with vocational training, employment and social recreation services that make their lives more productive and interesting. Through Opportunity Village’s programs and services, hundreds of people with disabilities are learning vocational skills and being placed in jobs throughout the community.

Move for Hunger

Move for Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with relocation companies to collect non-perishable items from the people who are moving and deliver the donations to local food banks. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is one of the first major relocation companies to join Move For Hunger’s mission to create a more hunger-free America.

Golden Rainbow

Golden Rainbow is a non-profit organization founded in 1987. They provide housing and financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Southern Nevada area. Golden Rainbow provides affordable and comfortable housing to men, women and children who are HIV/AIDS infected/affected who otherwise would have no other place to call home. In addition, they offer financial relief to people living with HIV/AIDS by assisting with payment of rent, mortgages, utilities, health-related costs, groceries, childcare, transportation and many other expenses.

Golden Rainbow is also dedicated to supporting HIV/AIDS related education.
